How do I get rid of metallic taste from Stainless Steel teapot?
We have a stainless steel teapot that has made grerat tea for years, but recently we noticed the tea had a metallic taste to it. We have washed it a few times, but there seems to be a cloudy film on the inside of the teapot and when you smell it it has a really strong metallic smell. Any ideas?
Boil water and vinegar and let it sit in the tea pot overnight the next day the taste will be gone .
or you could even use boiling water and a bit of Cream of Tartar powder ,this will work as well.
