Cooking an egg casserole in a Roaster?
I am making a sausage egg casserole for a large number of people (30ish). I was wondering if anyone has tried doing this in a 16-Quart Roaster? Would it work, or am I better off making smaller ones?
Your better off making smaller ones. With a big roaster your eggs aren't going to cook as evenly. Plus most roast pans are designed to brown your food so the eggs may burn on the bottom. Making like 4 small pans would probably work the best.
