Programmable Slow
Why is my computer so slow?
I have a Dell Inspiron 600m laptop. It is 4 years old. My computer's hard drive has recently been reformatted. My laptop does not function properly for the first hour that it is on. It is verryyyyyyyyyy slow. After about an hour, however, everything seems to be ok. I checked my system devices and there are no drivers installed for The Numeric Data Processor, Direct Memory Access Controller, Programmable Interrupt Controller, System Board, System Speaker, and System Timer. I don't know if this means anything or what...but I thought I would mention it anyways. Also, I barely have anything saved on my computer and have 82% free space of memory. Thanks so much for any help or advice you can give me.

Whoever formatted your computer, forgot to install all these drivers back on your laptop.
you need to go to http://support.dell.com/
here you will click on 'download drivers'
look for your computer model and you will get a list of all the drivers for your laptop. you only need to download the ones you need. once you download them, double click them and they will install on your computer. restart computer and everything should work better.
