Power Shower
How do you fix a leaking power shower. Its leaking from the dial on the wall.?
Am fed up with mould bcoz of this and water waste also. Ple......ase help.
You will have to dismantle the valve and see where the leak is coming from. You may have to cut away the valve or break open the tile to do this. Sometimes, it is easier to get to the valve and pipes from the other side of the wall. Is that in a closet or another room? If so, see if there is an access panel there. It may save you some work and repair costs if you can go through there.
Before you start anything, however, find the shutoff valve for this water line. It will probably be in the basement, if you have one, or maybe inside that access panel. You WILL want to shut off the water to this faucet before you try any repairs. Otherwise, you might have a fountain of water that dumps 20 gallons of water everywhere, while you're trying to find the shutoff valve.
