Ice Tea
I need the proper way to make Ice tea that will taste good?
Sorry I tried making ice tea in the afternoon,and it tasted watery.Sorry about all the ice tea questions.

I usually use black tea, like English Breakfast or black pekoe tea. I use 5 tea bags and tie the strings to the handle of the pitcher. I then take 2 cups of boiling water and pour over. I let steep 5 minutes or until the water is Dark Brown. I then remove the bags but do not squeeze them because it will release bitter-flavored oxidized compounds (especially important if you are using green tea). I then add about 2 cups of ice and fill the rest of the pitcher with cold water. If you want to make sweet tea, it's great to make a simple syrup. Add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar to a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil and dissolve all sugar granules. Add to the pitcher at the cold water step. If you want it to be sweeter, increase the water/sugar ratio equally.
