Filter Model
Is a staright pool filter (1250 model) any good vs hayward?
Have a 15 x 30 pool and got quotes from low 400's to mid 500. Yikes.....staright vs hayward brand is the issue....
Not sure I know what 1250 model is....if you are talking about a D.E. filter, sta-rite system 3 or system 2 filters are way better than hayward.....if you are comparing cartrdge filters that use no D.E,they are about the same but system 3 filters have much better warranty-10 years on the tank,3 years on the cartridge....here is a page with links to different types of filters....by the way,the hayward D.E. filter is a top manifold filter-not the way to go: http://www.swimming-pool-information.com/swimming-pool-filters.html
