Super Stretch
What is the most effective way to stretch my super tight hamstings?
My hamstrings are so tight I can barely touch my toes without feeling the tightness and it is very uncomfortable... I want them to become more flexible but I don't know what or how much to do?
Does it take a long time to get them less tense? How much should I do each day?

first off...make sure you do a warmup first...a little jogging or walking 5-10 minutes should be enough...think about a material like plastic; its more plyable when its warm...just like your muscles...after warming up do toe touches (as far as you can reach without much discomfort) and hold for 30-45 seconds...make sure you hold steady, no bouncing back and forth...then try putting your leg on top of a small chair or the like, and leaning in gently, again w/out too much discomfort and hold 30-45 sec...repeat this a few times...and do it every day, you should get results...
